UNDERSTAND THE METHOD
How to use this calculator
Add drinks and edit each serving volume, alcohol percentage, carbohydrate, and serving count. Energy includes ethanol and carbohydrate. A drink with fat or protein can contain additional energy.
What the result can tell you
These results do not estimate blood alcohol concentration, sobriety, or time until it is safe to drive. Energy equivalents are arithmetic comparisons, not weight forecasts or exercise advice. Preset pours and ingredients vary.
Common questions
How are drink calories calculated?
Enter serving volume, alcohol by volume, carbohydrate, and servings. The calculator converts alcohol to ethanol grams, then adds energy from ethanol and carbohydrate.
Does this result show blood alcohol concentration or sobriety?
No. It shows energy, ethanol, and standard-drink comparisons. It does not estimate blood alcohol concentration, sobriety, or the time until it is safe to drive.
